I earned my Master of Social Work from Temple University, and I am pursuing clinical licensure in Pennsylvania. I have been trained in EMDR therapy through The EMDR Institute. I am also a Certified Trauma Professional and have provided case management, advocacy, and counseling services to folks facing threats linked to public health issues—such as intimate partner violence. I am particularly passionate about women’s issues and currently specialize in supporting clients through anxiety and adjustment-related stressors, emotional (narcissistic) abuse, racial trauma, sexual trauma, and women’s pelvic/sexual pain.
My mission is to help you gradually untangle yourself from the sticky webs of life stressors. I also aim to boost your optimism about the future and enhance your innate gift of resilience. I hereby pledge to remain attuned to your needs and set the scene for our collaboration by generating a comfortable, nonjudgmental therapeutic space that will allow you to reap the most benefits from our sessions. During your therapeutic expedition, I will trek beside you and match your pace as you acquire skills to deal with any ditches or unexpected detours along the way. I am here for anyone who craves to feel less alone or misunderstood and is searching for a safe other who will offer empathy and unconditional acceptance.
